Originally from Mexico City, I am a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer based in Montreal. Living between cultures has shaped my experience of abrupt transitions and the ongoing process of personal transformation. My work is a search for an elusive emotional freedom—one that allows me to connect with diverse environments, cultures, and ways of thinking while remaining attuned to the evolution of my inner self. My practice is rooted in conceptual exploration, a threshold where intention transforms into symbol, and the symbol becomes an image and a metaphor reflecting the unfolding of lived experience. I approach adaptation and integration through art, using it as a medium to explore both cultural landscapes and the continuous changes of life itself. Experimentation and sketching are central to my process, guiding me through different techniques and media as I translate experience, memory, and perception into visual form. In my recent series, I explore themes of longing, compulsive obsession, lush transformation, and the belief systems etched in early childhood. These works are not fixed answers but open-ended dialogues—acts of integration that weave together memory, identity, and becoming.
