Originally from Mexico City and based in Montreal, I am a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer. Living between cultures has shaped my experience of transition and continuous transformation, which informs my ongoing search for emotional freedom and inner evolution.
My practice is rooted in conceptual exploration, where ideas become symbols and symbols develop into visual language. I often work with a single recurring element, using repetition as a way to explore cycles, accumulation, memory, and our relationship with time.
In recent work, I have moved toward more organic processes, incorporating biodegradable materials and plant-based inks. This shift reflects both an ecological awareness and an interest in the symbolic and healing qualities of nature, bringing a more intentional dimension to the work.
My recent series explores themes of longing, obsession, transformation, early belief systems, and time, creating dialogues that connect identity, memory, and states of becoming.
In parallel, I developed a children’s game titled Je suis Toi, focused on empathy and illustrated with the nature of Quebec. For more information, I invite you to visit www.jesuistoi.com.
